In celebration of our fifth season, this year we are featuring the great musicians of the Episcopal Cathedrals in the Pacific Northwest. The October concert, featuring the Cathedral Trio and Naomi Shiga, received rave reviews.
On Sunday, January 26, Michael Kleinschmidt, Canon for Cathedral Music from St. Mark’s, Seattle, delivered a masterful performance of Mozart, Bach, and Buxtehude, which included witty and insightful comments that helped everyone to greater appreciation of each piece. Bruce Neswick, the Canon for Cathedral Music at Trinity Episcopal Cathedral in Portland, will be ascending to our Fritts organ bench on May 17 for the final concert in our 2020 series.
Each concert is followed by a sumptuous reception, provided by Margie Hoffman and her crew, which affords the audience the opportunity to meet the artist and to visit with friends old and new.
All concerts in the series are free and open to the public, but we welcome donations to help us fund the series and also with upkeep and maintenance of our beautiful organ.
St. Andrew’s organist and choir play three Sundays per month at the 10 a.m. service.
