On Saturday, October 19, at 11:00 AM, this year’s Celtic Faire will feature the Haley Prendergast Irish Dance group (formerly Scoil Rince Slieveloughane) on our Big Stage.  This wonderful and dynamic young Irish dance troop was established by Robert Haley in 1996. Their teachers share their training, experience, knowledge, and love of traditional Irish dance with students from as young as six-years-old to adults, and from beginners through champions. They train dancers for competition, performance, or personal enrichment and recreation.

HPID has studios located throughout the Puget Sound region of Washington, including Olympia, Gig Harbor, and Kent. If you are interested in enrolling your child or yourself in a class, are looking for Irish dancers for an event, or would like to learn about upcoming community performances, please visit the HPID web site here.

We are also pleased to feature the Irish band Blue Cloud Celtic on our Celtic Village stage downstairs from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM. They play an amazing variety of Celtic music on authentic instruments.

At 1:45 PM the dynamic duo of piper Stewart Neveling and the award-winning young drummer Riley Girard will take the Big Stage for an inspiring set, followed by Stewart’s solo artistry on the pipes. Don’t miss this experience!

In addition, we are pleased to having the amazing piping of Margaret Nelson to open our Big-Stage program, a new innovative program and dance instruction by the wonderful Scottish Country Dancers of Tacoma, the unforgettable voice and talent of Molly Strasbaugh and her group Meara, and the energy and verve of Two Old Men Playing Celtic Music!

Please see the complete schedule of our Ceilidh below!  Join us for all or part of our program!
