We begin and end with a prayer always. We have much for which to be thankful.
• The financial reports for July were accepted. Income continues to be good and expenses below usual.
• The vestry approved the transition to on-line bill pay was approved for regularly occurring expenses and checks below $500 will only need one signature.
• We are evaluating our copier needs and will make a change to decrease our costs.
• The building and usage fees are being reevaluated.
• We will get bids to replace the glass in one of the sanctuary windows due to a crack.
• The vestry approved the purchase of a computer for the AV portion of our services. Currently, the
• computer is dual use for AV and office.
• Transition for our priests was discussed. Our time with Father Tom will end at the end of October. During the month of October, Father Tom will be taking unused vacation and he has arranged for our priests during the month. Father Tom’s last service with us will be September 24. Father Paul will be starting November 1 and his first service with us will be November 5.
• The vestry discussed recruiting for the remainder of this year and 2024. John and Lauren Austin will be moving, and we wish them many blessings.
• The kitchen fund has raised enough money to proceed with Phase 1.
• Thank you, Marian and Larry, for hosting a vestry potluck in July. It was wonderful.
• The Celtic Faire will take place on Saturday, October 21. The is will include the usual booths, tearoom, lunch shoppe, and entertainment. Sunday, October 22 will have bagpipes and a Celtic themed education.
