A Message from your Deacon – by Pam Tinsley

I’m excited to announce that I will be joining Epiphany Parish in Seattle on July 24! I will be serving part-time, primarily for Sunday morning worship; when the entire congregation meets together as a whole; and for pastoral care. I look forward to this opportunity to serve God and the people of Epiphany!

But first – my ordination to the priesthood! All are warmly invited to attend – either in person or via the live-streamed service – on June 13 at 6:30 pm at St. Mark’s Cathedral. (Please check https://saintmarks.org/ for COVID protocols.)

Then, on June 14 (yes, the following day!) I leave for a two-week pilgrimage to the Holy Land led by Bishop Rickel. The day after I return, Dave and I will be traveling to Colorado for our nephew’s wedding. June will certainly be a whirlwind month for us!

I look forward to re-joining you all at St. Andrew’s for worship on July 10. It will be a bittersweet time as my ministry with you concludes, and yet another transition for you and for me. You have been our parish family for the past 13 1/2 years – despite some absences when I was called to serve elsewhere during my formation. I am grateful for the love, support, and encouragement that you have given to me. Be assured that both Dave and I will continue to hold you in our prayers, and we ask that you pray for us!
