January Vestry Notes: Judy Nelson

Your vestry held their final meeting prior to the Annual Meeting, thanking our outgoing members for their dedication and hard work. Thanks went to John Cain, Maggie Burdick and Giorah Bour.

Items covered during our meeting included:

Minutes from December meeting were approved as written.
Search Committee was announced to all vestry members. Members will include Cindy Martin, Holly Greer, Colin McDaniel, Steve Sissel, Pam Rhodes and Joan Halley. Please thank them for taking on this important work.
Potential new vestry members were discussed
Senior Warden report included notes from the Outreach Committee meeting that dispersed the final set aside
Junior Warden report shared information about the success of the second Men’s Breakfast, and notes about the first dinner being provided to the homeless vets camp
December and year-end financial reports were reviewed. For more detail, please see the December Financial statements posted in the Ada Webb Room.
2023 budget was finalized and accepted prior to the Annual meeting.
Date for the Annual meeting has been set for Sunday, February 5th after a 9am service. A light continental breakfast will be provided.
Wished Father Tom safe travels as he prepares to join Bishop Greg on his mission to the Holy Lands.
