Vestry Update – Susan Rowe

The Vestry met on April 18, 2023. The following is a summary of discussions and actions:

• The Finance reports were presented and approved. Income has been better than expected and utility costs
  decreased.
• Easter services, including two baptisms, were well attended; attendance is increased from one year ago.
• Karen Porter, Jenny Glass, and other nursery volunteers will be writing nursery care protocols.
• The dishwasher and Nourish refrigerator will be repaired this week.
• The deadline for applications for the Search Committee to review was April 17, 2023. The Search Committee will begin the review of the applications they have received.
• There was discussion and approval to pursue repair of the kitchen to have it functioning for Celtic Faire.
• Quiz night is scheduled for Saturday, May 13.
• Celtic Faire is currently scheduled for Saturday, October 21, and planning will begin soon.
